VIoT Energy Efficiency Platform participates in Google for Startups AI Bootcamp 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City

From August 19 to 21, 2025, Google, in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC), organized the Google for Startups AI Bootcamp 2025 at Diamond Plaza, Ho Chi Minh City. This is an international-scale event aimed at supporting Vietnamese startups in accessing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, while also disseminating knowledge and promoting the application of AI across various fields.

Among the enterprises selected to participate, VIoT Energy Efficiency Platform was honored to be present with the goal of bringing AIoT technology and smart energy management solutions to industries and urban infrastructure. Participation in this Bootcamp was an opportunity for VIoT to directly engage with Google’s leading experts while also learning from the implementation experiences of pioneering startups in AI.

The three-day Bootcamp was designed as a progressive roadmap, from kick-off to model development, then to AI deployment and scaling at large scale.

On the first day, startups were introduced to an overview of the Google Cloud AI ecosystem, becoming familiar with NotebookLM, Vertex AI Studio, and Gemini Multimodal AI. This was the starting point that helped VIoT strengthen its technological foundation and open up directions for applying AI in energy demand forecasting and factory operation optimization.

The second day delved into building and deploying AI applications, from training and fine-tuning models (Tuning & Training on Vertex AI), to developing multi-agent applications (Multi-Agent Apps), and experiencing a rapid hackathon with Firebase Studio. For VIoT, this was an opportunity to practice building AI agents for monitoring, forecasting, and anomaly detection in energy systems.

The final day focused on key factors for scaling AI in practice: AI Observability, MLOps, Responsible AI & Security, and AI Infrastructure with GPU/TPU. These sessions were particularly relevant to VIoT as it aims to implement safe, sustainable, and scalable energy management solutions for multiple factories and industrial zones.

Participation in the Google for Startups AI Bootcamp 2025 not only brought valuable knowledge and experience to the VIoT team but also created opportunities to connect with the startup community, experts, and investors within the innovation ecosystem. This will be an important step for VIoT to continue affirming its pioneering position in the field of efficient, smart, and sustainable energy in Vietnam.
