VEEP – VIoT Energy Efficiency Platform JSC is proud to be awarded 2nd Runner-Up at the Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge (QVIC) 2026, marking an important milestone in our journey to develop AIoT-powered solutions and intelligent energy management technologies in Vietnam.

This achievement recognizes VEEP’s efforts to leverage AIoT, Cloud technology, and real-time data to address energy waste — one of the key challenges businesses face in their transition toward greener and more efficient operations.

QVIC is a program organized by Qualcomm to identify and support technology companies with innovative solutions that have strong potential for real-world applications and market scalability. After going through the selection, training, mentoring, and pitching stages before a panel of experts, VEEP was awarded 2nd Runner-Up at QVIC 2026, along with a USD 50,000 prize.

For VEEP, this award is not only recognition of our technology, but also a validation of the approach we are pursuing: leveraging AIoT to solve real-world energy challenges for businesses.

For many businesses, energy is still managed primarily through overall consumption indicators and traditional operating practices. As a result, energy inefficiencies and operational anomalies can be difficult to identify and address in time.

VEEP developed an AIoT Energy Management Platform that connects data from IoT devices, sensors, and energy systems, bringing it onto a Cloud platform for real-time monitoring, analysis, and operational optimization.

The solution helps businesses:

  • Monitor energy consumption in real time.

  • Detect operational anomalies.

  • Analyze data to identify sources of energy waste.

  • Optimize energy-consuming systems.

  • Make data-driven operational decisions.

  • Reduce energy costs and move progressively toward Net Zero goals.

The key differentiator in VEEP’s approach is that we go beyond monitoring — transforming energy data into actionable insights that can drive measurable improvements in energy efficiency.

Alongside its technology platform, VEEP is developing the Energy Efficiency as a Service (EEaaS) model, enabling businesses to access energy-saving solutions without necessarily having to bear the full upfront investment.

Through this model, VEEP works with businesses throughout the journey — from assessing existing systems and deploying technology to optimizing operations and measuring energy-saving performance.

Our goal is to help businesses shift from the mindset of: “Energy is simply a cost we have to pay.” to: “Energy is a resource that can be managed, optimized, and transformed into value.”

Winning 2nd Runner-Up at QVIC 2026 is a proud milestone for VEEP, but it also marks the beginning of a new chapter. VEEP will continue investing in AIoT, Energy Management, Edge AI, and Cloud Platform technologies, expanding applications across energy-intensive sectors such as buildings, retail, manufacturing, cold storage, and the cold chain.

By combining technology with the Energy-as-a-Service model, VEEP aims to build an ecosystem that helps businesses reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and improve operational efficiency.

VEEP believes that Vietnamese technology companies have the potential to create solutions that deliver value not only in the domestic market but also across the region and globally.

The 2nd Runner-Up achievement at QVIC 2026 gives VEEP even greater momentum to continue pursuing our mission: "Turning Energy from a Cost Center into a Profit Center."

VEEP would like to express our sincere appreciation to Qualcomm, QVIC, the experts, mentors, partners, and the entire VEEP team for their support and companionship throughout this journey.
