As part of its journey to accelerate green transformation and expand international collaboration, VEEP participated in the Vietnam–Japan Incubation Program, creating opportunities to explore new markets, connect with Japanese businesses, and advance energy efficiency solutions in both Vietnam and Japan.

The program was implemented under a project funded by the Government of Japan and jointly managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Innovation Center (NIC), with support from BKHoldings, InnoLab Asia, and 01Booster in training and business matchmaking activities.

Throughout the six-month incubation journey, VEEP had the opportunity to engage with major Japanese corporations, including Aeon, Sumitomo, and Sojitz, exploring potential collaborations in smart energy management, operational efficiency, and carbon emissions reduction.

Through its integrated AIoT, Energy Management, and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform, VEEP aims to help businesses optimize energy consumption, reduce operating costs, and advance their sustainability goals. Notably, VEEP reached its first USD 1 million revenue milestone, supported by the deployment of energy efficiency solutions at several Aeon shopping malls.

The program also provided valuable insights into the Japanese market, highlighting the potential of piloting energy solutions in Vietnam for Japanese corporations before expanding into Japan. This approach enables VEEP to demonstrate measurable results, build trust with partners, and establish a foundation for long-term collaboration with local Japanese businesses.

Beyond business opportunities, the program offered valuable lessons in Japanese business culture, discipline, and long-term organizational development, inspiring VEEP to further strengthen its commitment to responsible and sustainable growth.

VEEP believes that international collaboration goes beyond networking. It is about turning connections into practical projects that create meaningful value for businesses and the environment. The relationships established through the program will support VEEP in expanding its partner ecosystem, accelerating the adoption of smart energy technologies, and contributing to the green transition.

VEEP sincerely thanks the Government of Japan, UNDP, NIC, BKHoldings, InnoLab Asia, 01Booster, and all Japanese partners for their continued support and for creating opportunities to explore new markets and build meaningful partnerships.

VEEP looks forward to collaborating with businesses and partners in Vietnam and Japan to develop efficient, sustainable energy solutions tailored to real-world operational needs.
