As Vietnam’s startup ecosystem continues to evolve toward deep technology and digital transformation, being selected for the Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2026 (QVIC 2026) marks not only a significant milestone but also a strong validation of local technological capabilities.

According to Qualcomm, 28 outstanding startups have been selected this year to enter a 6-month incubation program, spanning key sectors such as AI, IoT, smart cities, robotics, data, and energy, with a total prize pool of up to USD 255,000.

This year also reflects a major scale-up of the program—from 10 to 28 startups—demonstrating growing confidence in Vietnam’s innovation landscape.

Among the selected startups, VEEP stands out as a pioneer in smart energy solutions, offering a differentiated approach through its Energy Efficiency as a Service (EaaS) model powered by an advanced AIoT platform.

VEEP’s solution goes beyond traditional energy monitoring by:

  • Optimizing operations in real time

  • Reducing energy waste by up to 30%

  • Supporting ESG compliance and Net Zero goals

  • Integrating finance and technology to eliminate upfront investment for clients

Aligned with QVIC’s focus on practical, scalable innovations with real-world impact, VEEP’s model demonstrates strong applicability in accelerating Industry 4.0 and sustainable energy transition in Vietnam.

A key highlight of QVIC 2026 is the shift from standalone technologies to integrated ecosystems, where AI, data, and IoT converge to solve real-world challenges.

Within this context, VEEP plays a strategic role in building intelligent energy infrastructure, connecting:

  • Buildings and smart cities

  • Power systems and renewable energy

  • Operational data and automated decision-making

More than just a technology provider, VEEP is helping shape the future of data-driven energy management, a critical pillar for sustainable urban development.

Being selected for QVIC 2026 is not only a recognition of VEEP’s technological capabilities but also a gateway to:

  • Align products with international standards

  • Expand regional and global partnerships

  • Accelerate commercialization of smart energy solutions

As the world moves toward Net Zero and energy transition, VEEP is steadily positioning itself as a leading energy technology startup from Vietnam, empowering businesses to optimize costs, reduce emissions, and enhance operational efficiency.
