VEEP is honoured to collaborate with AMACCAO Group and Verra in a site assessment and evaluation programme at the SERAPHIN Waste-to-Energy Plant, a flagship environmental infrastructure project aligned with Viet Nam’s circular economy development strategy and greenhouse gas emissions reduction objectives.

Verra is the world’s leading non-profit organisation responsible for developing and managing international carbon standards, most notably the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)—the most widely adopted global standard for greenhouse gas emission reduction and removal projects. The assessment at the SERAPHIN Waste-to-Energy Plant aims to evaluate the potential for measurement, verification, and commercialisation of emission reductions in accordance with international carbon standards.

Within this collaboration, AMACCAO Group, as the project developer and operator, is working closely with international partners to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the plant’s environmental performance and its potential participation in the global carbon market.

ree

VEEP contributes as a technology and solutions partner, providing its Amigo platform—an AI- and IoT-enabled energy management system that enables real-time collection of operational data, measurement of energy efficiency, and monitoring of emissions reductions. This digital infrastructure establishes a reliable data foundation to support project validation, documentation, and the issuance of transparent, high-integrity carbon credits under international standards.

ree

VEEP believes that the combination of Verra’s standard-setting and validation expertise, AMACCAO’s project development and operational experience, and VEEP’s digital technology platform will enable the SERAPHIN project to effectively access climate finance mechanisms, while optimising the economic value of verified emissions reductions as part of its Net Zero transition pathway.

ree

VEEP remains committed to partnering with stakeholders to develop transparent energy and carbon solutions, supporting the transformation of energy from a cost centre into a value generator, and unlocking the potential of ESG finance and carbon markets in Viet Nam.
